TRAIL PERMITS
An OFSC Trail Permit is mandatory for any snowmobile wishing to use the over 41,000 km of OFSC Prescribed Snowmobile Trails. Fines for failure to comply range from $200 - $1000. The permit is valid only in the province of Ontario and may be used only for Prescribed Trails operated by the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.Buy Where You Ride
All revenue from the sale of trail permits goes directly to the OFSC and it's clubs to operate, maintain and support the the trail system where you ride. For this reason it is important to “Buy Where You Ride”.

Permit Placement
The Trail Permit is valid only when permanently affixed in the approved areas so that it is fully visible to a person standing 10 metres in front of the machine on its centerline. Remove the old permit first. Avoid placing your new permit directly on top of your old one. With the new translucent permit materials, the old one may show through.
